Users can manage all their accounts with just one SSO ID instead of having different usernames and passwords for different departments.

How to Create SSO ID
Registration is completely free and consumes little time of your busy schedule.
Open the SSO Registration Page
Head over to the official Rajasthan SSO website and look for the registration option. Always double-check that the site URL begins with https:// — this keeps your personal details safe.
Pick Your User Type
The portal serves three types of users — Citizens (regular residents, students, and farmers), Udyog (for those running a business), and Govt. Employees (state government staff). Select whichever applies to you.
Choose How You Want to Register
- Citizens can sign up using Jan Aadhaar, Aadhaar, Google, or Facebook.
- Government Employees need their SIPF Number along with a password — the default password is usually your date of birth in DDMMYYYY format.
- Business owners can register through BRN or Udyog Aadhaar.
Verify OTP and Set Up Your SSO ID
After submitting the details you will get an OTP on your registered mobile number. Verify it, then create your username. Keep in mind — your username is permanent, so choose wisely. Finish by setting a strong password and adding your email address.
Click Register – That’s It!
A message confirming your details will show up, and your SSO ID will be sent to you both on your mobile phone and email. Keep that ID safe; you’ll need it for future reference.
Common Rajasthan SSO ID Registration Problems & Their Solutions

How to Login SSO ID
Open the Official Portal
Visit sso.rajasthan.gov.in , and always double-check the site to ensure security.
Enter SSO ID and Password
You will be asked to enter your SSO ID and password. Enter it correctly to avoid unnecessary login issues.
Complete the Captcha
Enter the six digit code shown in the image. Click the refresh button if you can’t read it for a new code.
Click Login
Click Login to enter your SSO dashboard. All linked services will appear here.
Rajasthan SSO Login Problems & Their Solutions

1. Can’t Remember Your SSO ID?
Fastest Way — SMS (No Internet Needed)
Just grab your registered mobile phone and send RJ SSO to 9223166166. You’ll get your SSO ID back as a text message within seconds — no browser, no login needed.
Through the SSO Website
Open sso.rajasthan.gov.in and tap on “I Forgot my Digital Identity (SSOID)”. Select your ID type, complete the OTP verification, and your SSO ID will show up right on the screen.
2. Forgot Your Password?
Via SMS
From your registered number, send RJ SSO PASSWORD to 9223166166 and follow the instructions you receive.
Through the SSO Website
Go to the login page and click “I Forgot my Password”. Enter your SSO ID and email address, choose where you want the OTP sent, click the reset link, and then create a new strong password.
🔍 Lost or changed your registered number? Recovery online will not be possible here. You will have to personally visit an e-Mitra center near you along with your Aadhaar or Jan Aadhaar.

How to Complete Your OTR Step by Step
Log In and Open the Recruitment Portal
Start by logging into your SSO account. Once you’re in, look for the Recruitment Portal icon and click on it.
Find the One-Time Registration Button
On the Recruitment Portal dashboard, you’ll see a button that says “One Time Registration.” Click on it to get started.
Pick Your Verification Method
You’ll be asked to verify your identity. There are two ways to do this:
- Aadhaar / Jan Aadhaar (Recommended): This is the easier way. Your Name, Father’s Name, Date of Birth and Gender get auto-filled.
- SSO Profile: Select it only if you don’t have Aadhaar. In this case, you also have to upload your 10th class marksheet.
Review Your Information and Add Education Details
After the data is fetched, go through everything carefully. Link your ABC ID so your degrees and marks get synced digitally.
Important: All the details should match your Class 10th Marksheet. If you want to correct it later, it will cost you ₹300.

A Few Things Worth Knowing
Pay once, apply many times – If you pay the OTR fee, you won’t have to pay separate fees for 2026 exams like CET, LDC, Patwari and others.
Out-of-state candidates are treated as General category — which means no matter which category you belong to in your home state, you will pay Rs 600.
New for 2026: Nowadays in high security recruitments Face Authentication is asked during the OTR process. So, make sure your camera is working before you sit to register.
Take your time in the registration, and double check everything before submitting. One small mismatch can mean unnecessary fees and delays in correcting it.
Merge Duplicate SSO IDs Easily in Just 4 Steps
Many individuals end up creating two SSO IDs unknowingly — one SSO ID using Google and another using Jan Aadhaar. This affects scholarship and job applications since the Aadhaar can be linked to just one SSO ID. Merge them as follows:
Login into your temporary SSO ID, but not the primary one.
Open “Edit Profile” from the top right side menu.
Select “Deactivate Account” then pick the option of merging. Ensure you have selected the correct SSO ID.
Verify via OTP and use your primary SSO ID details. Data will automatically be merged.
📌 Remember: “Deactivation” will not delete any data but just transfer it to your primary ID.
How to Update Jan Aadhaar Through SSO? Step by Step Guide
Updating Jan Aadhaar is free and mandatory for Chiranjeevi, Anuprati, and other Rajasthan schemes.
Perform E-KYC
Log in to SSO → Go to Jan Aadhaar → Select Jan Aadhaar E-KYC. All members of your family aged more than 5 years must do the OTP verification first. This step is necessary, otherwise no updates will be accepted.
Information Update
Mobile Number, Address, Income & Bank Account details can be updated after doing the E-KYC. Upload a scanned copy of your income proof as Income Proof, and a Bank Passbook/Cancelled Cheque and bill as Address Proof. E-sign using OTP of the head of the family.
Check the Status
Open your Jan Aadhaar dashboard, select “Enrolment Status.” It takes 7–15 days. A green tick symbol means approved. A red cross symbol shows rejection — upload your documents again.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Can other people create SSO ID for Rajasthan?
Yes. Anyone can apply for SSO ID for Rajasthan government services. Aadhaar/mobile OTP will be enough. Rajasthan domicile is required only for state schemes, not for SSO ID.
Is there an age limit to create SSO ID?
There is no upper or lower limit. Even children aged above five years can register with their parents’ Aadhaar through Jan Aadhaar/E-KYC.
SSO portal says “Server Busy” — What to do?
It indicates overuse. Try accessing the site during morning timings 6–9 AM or late-night times. Clean the browser cache, use Chrome, and avoid accessing the site between 11 AM–4 PM.
How do I change my name and DOB in my SSO profile?
This cannot be done directly. It automatically takes the details from the Aadhaar database. You can first update your Aadhaar card through the nearest Aadhaar Kendra, and the change will reflect after 24–48 hours.
RPSC + Scholarship with 1 SSO ID — Possible?
Yes. That’s the number one advantage. One SSO ID gives access to the Recruitment Portal (RPSC/RSSB), Scholarship Portal (SJE), e-Mitra and all other services. No need for separate accounts.
Is the Raj SSO Mobile App Safe or Not?
Yes, 100% safe. The Raj SSO App is an official app of the Government of Rajasthan. Just download it from the Play Store / App Store. Don’t use random APKs — your data is safe there.
